GeekVillage – and particularly the Geek/Talk Discussion Forums – were fixtures of the professional web publishing space back in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The emergence of social media and discussion aggregators such as Reddit placed pressure on niche forums and an abundance of spam was the final nail in the coffin for many independent discussion spaces.

After a bit of a refit, though, the Geek/Talk Forums and GeekVillage’s helpful library of content designed to help web publishers and other online content creators move from hobby to professional status, is coming back with a vengeance.
