It is not as easy as in the past, as you need to put more work into it. For example building a following a really being helpful towards the customer with the explanation.

I would call it building up references, but yes it is still alive. I still do it myself.
This is a bit easy said. It actually depends, but doing the right things right will get you a long way.
Nowadays there are many CMSs or Page-Builder for which this is easy to you. Take your pick and it is done over the weekend 😉
